Totally reasonable. As far as TV/movie adaptations, I think they are usually done by British companies on a budget of a cup of tea and a shoelace so they are definitely hit or miss visually. There are some quality moments and actors there though.

Impressive that the sprinkles are "imperfect". Some are shorter or just little bits and pieces. Some are more curvy.
Did you have to render a bunch of individual sprinkles and then use some kind of tool to scatter them over the donut and randomize the colors??

That's fair. It's a very simple story in the end. I think a decent chunk of its success is people being pleasantly surprised by how 'not bad' it was.

Hearing this just makes me appreciate the fact they really broke the mold with DAO. The 'tactical control' or whatever it was called turned off a lot of people, but I loved it. With streamlining, there was a deep, satisfying combat system there but instead it got more generic and simple over time.
