Agree with Peter. I saw the escalation of this issue in Chavez's Venezuela. We see it now under the 'Apprentice autocrat' show in the US. Freedom of expression and Information are fundamental rights to keep Apprentice autocrats accountable and in their own place.

Sorry for the self promotion, but this book, my research, is more relevant than ever. Venezuelans know how, step by step, an autocrat converted democracy into a dictatorship - the first step was to bypass and then change the constitution - the rest is history, surreal history…Scary!
