Time is usually the factor. For myself it’s the same amount of time. But I don’t have to park the train, or clean it, or get it smog-tested, trust it to a valet, get pulled over for some crap, worry about a kid taking it without permission, and if we collide with a tractor-trailer, I survive.

Old post, but I grew up in Newport News. It’s more than just an urban-rural divide: a Trump supporter is most likely to have never lived anywhere but their hometown.

Where have you been lately? Nobody says he didn’t mean it. They’re at the ghoulish glee stage-they’re saying all his horrible insults are hilarious, that they love it, that the journalists deserve to be fired, banished, or even jailed. We’re waaay past them defending it. They glorify it.
