I could not resist the temptation to co-organize a workshop at the Freie Universität, even if doing so less than in a week after the conference in Bonn is a clear symptom of madness. And I really loved it – but it had to be a very short visit, so no interaction beside that with colleagues and a cat

It was a pleasure having you with us, dear Christian! I have learnt a lot!

Still struggling to find coherent words to report about the Fourth European Symposium in Celtic Studies - meanwhile only endless gratitude to the team, thankfulness to all the colleagues who came and made it such a wonderful new milestone in the history of Celtic Studies in Bonn!

It was a great honour to speak on BBC Cymru with Dei Tomos about my favourite Welsh poem, “Ciwcymbars Wolverhampton” by Ifor ap Glyn. Most likely, my version was quite Russian – just like my fresh-salted cucumbers – but it was great fun!

Roedd hi’n fraint siarad â Dei Tomos ar BBC Cymru am fy hoff gerdd Gymraeg, “Ciwcymbars Wolverhampton” gan Ifor ap Glyn. Yn ôl pob tebyg, roedd fy fersiwn i’n eithaf Rwsiaidd – fel fy nghiwcymbars newydd wedi’u halltu – ond roedd hi’n llawer o hwyl siarad amdani!

The Celtic Department at Bonn just had a wonderful visit from Utrecht. We had a great time discussing with twelve members of @svasterix.bsky.social the past, present, and future of Celtic Studies programs and what draws people to them. @celticuu.bsky.social – you have amazingly engaged students!

Feeling so grateful for having in front of me this publication in such a wonderful co-authorship. This is the first book with my name as co-author, not co-editor, on the cover, so this is quite a special moment for me - and definitely some dreams coming true.
