Please stop advertising this holy fuck.

It looked interesting, but the switch 2 is WAY too expensive for me to really be interested in it sadly. Hopefully it's only timed exclusive.

On the plus side, at least the trailer made that immediately clear. I feel the same as you, that trailer was... too much for me to be interested. And that means I can immediately know I'm not interested. Good marketing. :)

As someone with tastes that are wildly different from the norm and who has a critical eye towards the good and bad of even my favourites, it is often frustrating for me... It makes it very hard to have discussions sometimes.

Same. I mean I'd be happy to pretend I had no social media except the dummy Twitter account I used to use to retweet people running retweet contests... But I'd still never make it in lol

This is something I've found difficult but definitely agree with.

The tournament is not affiliated with the developers to my knowledge.

A lot of games receive publishing deals from larger devs but are still independent developers. Most people consider Ori to be Indy but it was published by ms. There have been a number of Indy games published by square Enix as well.

Journey. This wasn't even hard...

Me when Metroid Prime came out 23 years ago: God I hope this never happens again.

The pathless. If you haven't played it you absolutely should.

Yep, we underplay the role the US has had in undermining attempts to implement socialism and communism around the world.

Ya, it's really tough to successfully implement something when there's a rich nation with a large military deadset on sabotaging your attempt to do it at every turn.

Friendship between birbs and dogs is truly a wonderful thing.

Possibly all three
December 5, 2025 at 5:19 PM
But... I don't expect a naive Carney apologist to actually admit he's just helping his CEO friends get richer. We'll see in a few years that Canada's wealth gap will have accelerated growth. But you still won't admit it even when the numbers clearly show it.
December 5, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Trickle down isn't just "tax cuts for the wealthy" it's economic policy that advantages the people who already have the wealth in the hopes that their success will mean success for others too. Carney is investing in CEOs in the hopes they'll create success for others.
December 5, 2025 at 4:22 PM
I think you're just blind to the reality of Carney's policy. His practices have uniformly and unquestionably benefited the rich more than the middle class and poor by an exponential factor. But sure. "Real projects".
December 5, 2025 at 4:20 PM
Trickle down never raises all boats. Until we tackle the problems inherent in trickle down economics this will just mean more working poor. Unfortunately Carney only cares about CEO's so more working poor is a positive in his mind.
