Used burnt matches and pencils to sketch saulforged (Insta) because my mind decided I couldn't very well draw a blacksmith without coal

It was so nice to have a tiny burst of inspiration to make art. Life's been a bit rough lately.

Spent yesterday embroidering on a medieval hood
The woollen thread is plant dyed (woad and reseda)
Our #littleMenaceCirilla kept me company
We rewatched the Witcher series together. She only watched the parts with Ciri. Of course 😏💚

(Really bad at sharing things here lately, though I want to)

My favourite flowers are sunflowers and dandelions
I cannot count the times I doodles sunflowers in the margins of my homework, etc
For a long while, since I felt like it was "too boring" to love sunflowers

Stumbled over two old crochet projects I did over 10 years ago

Just drew him from memory
I don't use erasers for my doodles so it's a bit off
But I am glad it looks a bit like him
His ears were huge, as was his nose
And his white hair had the whispiness of cotton candy
He'd been a tall, striking man when he was young
And so much smaller at the end
