Had the opportunity to play this with some cool peeps, last night, and the @seattleindies.bsky.social social night, and it was a delightful experience~

We ran a gaylien space bar, and here are a few doodles inspired by our bar.
A tall, lean human, Willow, perches on the edge of a circular bar. Another image of her, to the right, depicts it pouring soda into a drink glass from a nozzle (likely behind the bar). They are wearing a crop top, mid-to-low-rise jeans (modern low-rise; not quite late 90s low-rise), and a flannel over-shirt. His hair is in a bun, held with chopsticks. To the left of the image is some text describing Willow: "Demi-everything Bartender Can drink. Won't." At the bottom of the image is text that reads: "Not *quite* over her last breakup (they took the dog off-world!)" Bonus lore: Willow uses all pronouns, but responds best to "excuse me, my good barkeep?" Mostly to see who will actually address them thusly, later in the night. A unicorn smoking a cigarette and playing a theramin, using one of their (detachable, "like a glove") hooves as a makeshift ashtray. The unicorn says, in word bubbles: "Requests? No." A sentient jelly cube alien, named Slimbolo, receives a cowboy hat from the mysterious Janitor after an identity-formative pep talk. The out-of-frame Janitor says, "Here ya go, pardner" Text at the bottom on the image says "(Slimbolo's fondest formative memory)" Slimbolo is making a bashful lil winky face. The full staff, inspecting a strange item they found by the washrooms. Most peculiar! (It's a plumbing snake, but they'd never seen one before). From left to right we have Slimbolo the jelly square, our part-time bipedal unicorn, 2 humans (choreographer and bartender), an octopus-guy, and our adorable server, in a black top with a heart-shaped boob window. They're also wearing a shark tooth necklace, and carrying a drinks tray.

So, I've had this ox tongue succulent for nearly 20 years, but it never bloomed for me.

This year, I gave her the most intense drought she's ever had. She turned burgundy (stress/dormancy) and stopped growing for a few months.

Then, in June, I gave her a monsoon.

An ox tongue succulent, named because each thick, textured, lobed leaf looks like a cow tongue, but green. You can see what looks like a tiny asparagus shoot at the top of the nest of green tongues (now that's a sentence!) Several long flowers, growing on a stalk. They look a bit like fancy gourds; round and coral-orange at the attachment point (top of the flower shape, in the image), the bloom changes to vertical stripes of pale yellow and green halfway down the flower, slightly flaring at the opening where we can see little balls of pollen peeking out .

so, I don't re-play games often. If I do, it'd usually months or years after finishing a storyline (same with books and movies)

I'm on my 2nd playthrough of Wanderstop, and loving it even more than the first time. The pluffins are stinkin' cute little tea thieves.

We laughed too loudly while Bruce was trying to sleep.
The face and front paws of a light tan colored chihuahua are poking out over a rusty-orange fuzzy blanket. He has a mostly-black nose, black lips and toenails, and just the front edge of his tongue is visible. Neither eye is facing forward or in the same direction, which indicates he was likely sleeping moments before the picture was taken. He looks very annoyed.
