I kinda hate the comments blaming all this on gerrymandering. GOP messes with districts but they still win state wide races in alabama, texas and other states by huge margins. This isn't a case like atl where there's potential. Red states clearly want these people in power

I think a larger problem is people spread themselves thin buying more than they need and the increase in demand shoots up the costs of housing while people paying for them are on shaky ground
