Got a new Gambeson, Pauldrons, and battle skirt for this event. So far the pauldrons are way less painful and bulky, but the skirt is a touch too big. Either way, it was a blast and thankfully the weather mostly held out for us!

Start of LARP season for me and already showing rain. Some things never change. Either way, I'm sure it'll still be a blast and can't wait to get to camp to get in character!

1. Tank with a solemn oath to defend the meek and help people.
2. Golden Retriever with gremlin energy.
3. Keeps people a bit at arms reach even if she cares for them.

Just want to find some cool larp stuff here, but over half the feed is just people using it as a political insult. Quickly becoming a peeve to see. Like just say "pretend"; It's a perfectly serviceable word.

If I wasn't throwing myself into too many TTRPG campaigns before, the next 4 years are going to put that to shame.
That said: My goal after any of my current ones finish is to start diving into a wider base of games beyond the big names.

I honestly didn't believe I'd ever get to see Macross streaming in the US. I've just been waiting for Harmony Gold to ruin it again as they always do. SO happy to see I was wrong!

So close to Magfest and still need to go through and see which bands to add to schedule. Bit Brigade will always go on first when performing!

Man, sad that Epic the Musical is finally over, but it was a hell of a ride! Strong finish to the story and can't wait to see what Jorge does next!

So far my one-shot Kids on Bikes horror game from Halloween is now going into its fourth (and likely final) week next Wednesday. Not a complaint since everyone is having fun, but man it's gonna be a long week until I can hit them with the finale!

Nothing like being invited to a larp, getting ready for it, and then realizing you have to wait until the next August.
At least I have existential dread of the election to make some of it pass quickly? Don't even get one of the cool Michigan stickers for it.

Decided to finally order something off of HeroForge and just did the standee as a test. Went with my fairy ancestral guardian barbarian that was raised by Storm Giants, Remy Stormhart! Looks better in person and very much good with quality/price!
