THE END//

Something something they always find each other in every universe something something.

Originally Ghost was going to stalk Johnny a little bit before he got the courage to talk to him but I didn't manage to pull it off on the draft so I scrapped the idea.

Hope you liked it tho!

Cue them having some mind-blowing sex over at Johnny's place, and then Simon moving in with him not a week later. He got a job on the deli down the road from the restaurant, so he could spend his breaks there and so they can go home together by the end of the day.

"Ken I had to have ye the moment I saw ye in that alley, with a knife sticking out of your side."

An amused chuckle slipped through his bare lips as he leaned in closer, "Should've known you had something loose up there," And before Johnny could protest, he kissed him.

When Simon asked Johnny out, the smile he gave him was almost blinding.

"Aye, I thought ye'd never ask, ye big oaf," Johnny chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Simon's neck, his hands instincively going to Johnny's hips.

Simon thought they were just friends at first, but after meeting a couple of Johnny's friends, he realized the man treated him differently. There was something more earnest and thoughtful behind their interactions, and eventually, Simon realized it was love.

After that, Simon became a regular of the restaurant. The tea quality on that place improved, solely because Johnny, as Simon decided to start calling the other man, wanted to make good tea for him, even if he himself hated tea.

The smile on the Scot grew impossibly bigger, his blue eyes twinkling under the fluorescent lights of the restaurant as he shook Simon's hand.

"I'm John, it's nice to meet you Simon."

"Well, you're not wrong," he gasped as he cleaned tears from his eyes. Looking up at the man, he was surprised, but his smile was there nevertheless. Simon couldn't help but smile under the mask as well, "I'm Simon," he said, extending his hand to the other man.

The laugh that came out of him was borderline hysterical, but could you blame him? Somehow this guy he only met once, after he got stabbed by a drunkard, managed to call him by his callsign. It shouldn't be funny, but given the circumstances, it was.

"Sit wherever you want," The guy said, and then suddenly spun on his feet, eyes wide as if stuck with a realization, "Fuck I don't know your name, I've been calling you Ghost in my head ever since that night."

Ghost looked at him, hesitant, but the warm smile and friendly disposition that was still there, the same as that night, even after a month had happened, got his feet moving.

"Uh-huh, the lass ye saved that day would say otherwise though," the man argued, and then smiled, stepping to the side to let him in, "Come on in, aye? At the very least let me feed you something as a thank you."

"'M not a hero," Ghost sputters, slightly scandalized by being called something he's definitely not. He did what any decent person would do, and even then, the blood of his hands still positioned him well away of the 'decent person' category.

"Are ye coming in or no'?" The man says, his head tilted in question, "Our regulars are starting to get antsy having a big spooly dude standing outside, no matter how much I explain you're actually a local hero."

Ghost was about ready to just turn around and go home, fuck his grocery run, when he catches movement from inside out of the corner of his eye and the door opens. He's once again greeted by the man with the mohawk and the terrible Scottish accent, and he feels strangely happy.

He didn't understand why he was there. He was on his way to the store, when he found himself walking down the street the restaurant was in and now he's been standing outside for five minutes like a creep.

Just because he got shanked on an alley and that man, who didn't seem to be scared of him at all and offered to help him didn't mean he was going to linger on it.

Imagine his surprise when he found himself in front of that same family restaurant, a month or so after he got stabbed.

Ghost thought that would be the last time he would see of that man, since he had to stay back for questioning and, at the time, Ghost wasn't planning to come back to that place, because why would he? Nothing about his life would change after this.

The paramedics were very thrown off by Ghost's aloof attitude towards being stabbed and seemed to be handling the bit of blood loss quite well, all the while Ghost could feel the Scottish man's eyes on him, even as he was being interrogated. He paid it no mind.

The woman stood on the other side, all the while they watched as the mohawk guy tied the drunk man with what Ghost was sure was the same kind of string people used to string up ham.

They sat there in silence, until eventually the cops and the ambulance arrived.

Not the mask, or the fact that he took being stabbed on the side like a champ.

At a loss on what to do, Ghost mindlessly sat down on the steps that led to the building, knife still sticking out of him after he explained it was better to leave it there to not risk more bleeding.

Even the girl standing right besides him was hesitant too speak or move around him, even though she was grateful for him having saved her.

And yet, this guy, with his stupid mohawk and horrible Scottish accent, took one look at him and...didn't care about anything.

"Just come sit yer ass down and wait for the police and the ambulance to come, Christ!" And then he got to talking to the operator.

Ghost is, in all honesty, stunned. No one's ever talked to him that way, except Price. Everyone was too afraid to look at him for a second too long.

But the moment the words leave his mouth, the man is staring at him like he's stupid and out of his mind.

"The fuck ye are! Are ye nuts? Ye got a bleedin knife sticking out like a toothpick on an olive," The woman nods along, furiously agreeing with what the man is saying.
