Republicans just removed Miami Beach's famous pride crosswalks. They could have painted them, but instead used bulldozers to destroy the bricks. Pride crosswalks are a tiny, symbolic gesture. But they are still important symbols of the political climate.

I regret to inform you a second Labubu has hit Karl Marx's grave

Attempts to convert trans women with testosterone and trans men with estrogen supplements go back to at least the mid-1910s! It never worked and never will work.

If this were a 'genuine question,' Lauren could have spent 10 seconds to see that they already tried this and failed.

Howdy. You have no idea how ready we are for Halloween.

Weird how all the British anti-trans activists end up also being horrible racists. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that they use the same arguments for trans people and migrants (predatory, violent, replacing "worthy" citizens, etc). /s

UK dates are coming up soon! Tickets and info on my website

And for the anti-trans brigade threatening to crash/complain about my talks, don't worry, the venues have already been sent your emails and are ready for you. A protest is great publicity, so I encourage it (even though I know you won't) 😘

Another far-right anti-queer mass shooting took place this weekend, but you probably won't hear about it. Last year, Nigel Edge filed a suit claiming "a cabal of 'LGBTQ White Supremacists' and pedophiles were trying to murder him because he’s a 'straight man.'" It was dismissed earlier this summer.

Wanting to connect with other trans people, Alannah began painting their friends. “It was how I stayed sane.” 'A' eventually left New York, but his presence reminds us of the ephemeral experiences that can change our lives forever. As Alannah put it, “I paint as I live, and both are a privilege."

🧵 Alannah Farrell (they/them), “A (Downtown Brooklyn)” (2025)

After coming out as trans, Alannah’s husband, now ex, threw them out of their shared apartment. Without a home, the internationally celebrated artist moved sublet-to-sublet, hotel-to-hotel.

There were more dogs who shot their owners than there were trans shooters in the last decade.

I'm going to start asking them this, too. There is absolutely no tangible improvement in cis women's lives from trans persecution, but fearmongering media and politicians have convinced some of them otherwise.

Sure, the right doesn't like me now, but just wait until they learn what I was doing underneath the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria in 2015.

3 years ago, Matt Walsh, LibsOfTikTok, & many other right-wing pundits tried to get me expelled for supporting trans youth. So I wanted to let them know I just finished my PhD and am doing better than ever.

They are not inevitable, and I believe we will win against their censorship and demagoguery

The people behind Project 2025 just published a "guide" for designating the trans movement as domestic terrorism. They falsely claim trans people are behind *50%* of school shootings, despite only being able to name 4 cases (0 of which were motivated by anti-trans sentiments).

Funny how all the major figures adopting anti-trans politics keep ending up on the Epstein list. 🤔

This is the first diagram I've ever seen with a masculine pregnant person! 😍

In 1966, researchers conducted a now-forgotten LSD experiment on gay and trans men, only to find that it made most of them even more grounded in their identities! No one should be sent to conversion therapy, but I also find the results as funny as they are predictable.

There was a gorgeous dyke/trans bar called "Le Monocle" in 1930s Paris. Monocles were a bit like wearing a pride flag among the queer people assigned female at the time, like in this colorized 1937 photo. Nazis shut down the bar during the war, but many patrons stayed in touch for years after. 🧐

This might be an overly consumerist response to the problem of misgendering, but it's also a clever loophole to get around these harmful laws.

Why is the right so scared of the term "pregnant people"? Trans men get pregnant all the time. So do girls, unfortunately. It's not just women. The term "pregnant person" isn't just about inclusivity: it's more accurate, too.

We don't need billionaires. This photo is from Johannesburg, the wealthiest city in Africa, home to several billionaires whose riches come from the exploitation of the people living in these shantytowns. This is the South African economic inequity that gave us Elon Musk and Peter Thiel.
