I did actually update positively on their value when they correctly predicted a Trump victory. But after this and the Cremiuex thing, it's becoming obvious that they do create harmful and potentially dangerous incentives.

I wonder how much of their decline was due to the RFK senate investigations + decline of organized Labour. Though I’m hardly an expert here.

If an artist has disdainful feelings towards image generators, I sympathize. If somebody holds disdain for things like AlphaFold, fuck em then.

William Gillis pointed out that, despite hinging his entire career on hating postmodernists, Jordan Peterson is essentially on the side of the scientific antirealists for aligning with Jung. And the antirealist strain of postmodernism was the type that Sokal et al were arguing against.
