If they didn't want the Steam Deck to look too bad, they could have tested with Tomb Raider Definitive Edition on both - It has a native Switch 2 port.

Seems like the hate grifters have a massive hate on for anything which isn't a hate grifter (and even then there's no guarantee of avoiding the hate...)

I can believe it's purely financial, in the sense of "If this show is still airing, the current Administration won't let my business deal go through, so I lose financially".

I did Jury Duty in Australia about a year and a half ago, got picked for a planned three-day trial (Juries are only used for serious offences where I live). They got rid of most of the excuses for getting out of it here. Govt covered my pay for the time, and a travel allowance was paid.

Depends on its cruising speed and power efficiency....
