You are right, Mark. I have kids and grandkids here in NC so it would be really hard for me to leave. I hope I won’t have to!

That’s what happened to my mother in Norway so many years ago. I thought that was over but clearly it isn’t. It breaks my heart.

We were rooting for Philadelphia but drove home from our daughter’s during half time so we missed that part.

Mine too. I can’t imagine why they are so filled with hate toward immigrants and LGBTQ folks…if they go through with these deportations, so many people are going to be hurt and even killed. I hate it!

We moved to Hillsborough to be closer to the kids - Annie and her family live in Durham and Katie and hers live here in Hillsborough.

Nice! North Carolina is pretty warm overall. I miss the snow we used to get in the mountains but we were too far from the kids. We did get an inch or so in this last snow. They got a lot more out on the coast which was really cool for them! I just don’t love the hot summers.

Do you go to FL for the winter? We’re in Hillsborough near Durham and Raleigh. Our kids and grandkids live in Durham and here in Hillsborough. That’s why we live here! ☺️ Not enough snow for my taste, and pretty hot in the summer, but that’s a trade off I’m willing to make to be close to them!

I agree! I feel a little less enthusiastic earlier in the day but once Nicole is on, I’m okay with leaving it there until after Lawrence or recording it for later. If only Jon Stewart was on there…

I did! I’ve been trying not to watch it but Ron is interested so sometimes I have to. I loved what she said and I always hope somebody will get through to him but I don’t think she did.

And then he called her nasty. It just makes my blood boil when he says things like that but I think it becomes even more important for us to straighten our crowns and remain vigilant.
