very unfortunate that there's no information about what the cis woman wears or what random people think about her appearance

Did you manage to get everything ok? I'm excited!! ❤️

Looks good to me! When's it happening?
December 5, 2025 at 6:44 AM
That should be fine. There should be something!

I'm not sure whether it would be cheaper or more expensive in this economy!

I haven't really had any issues with mixed memory sets unless I've turned on XMP/EXPO.

You might see CPUs/motherboards/cases following promotional trends and being cheaper at boxing Day etc, but I only expect memory/GPU/SSD to increase in cost in the short-medoum term.
December 3, 2025 at 6:38 AM
SSDs and GPUs haven't moved much yet in price, but I would expect them to be significantly impacted in the next 3-6 months too.

I don't think consumer behaviour/seasonal trends have made much of an impact on these items price either way.

It looks like the price volatility has been driven by a number of factors, but the largest contributor is seemingly the deployment of Data Centres for AI applications overwhelming supply chains. Some are speculating that it could have a multi-year impact.

Also happy to help with assembly if you need it. ^^

16 GB RAM is on the low side today, but is easy to upgrade later. The current price point makes it hard to justify - it makes sense to see what the market does and get more later if needed.

The cooler is one of the better reviewed budget coolers, and another easy upgrade later if it underperforms.

HMU if you'd like any changes, or to rework things to include *other stuff* at the price point, or to translate to a different store.

If you want to save a little, easy substitutions are motherboard and graphics card - same models but not white is slightly cheaper.

White PSU is $9 more.

Windows 11 is $32 here. I've bought from Brytesoft multiple times before - they are *somehow* legit enough for me (although I use Fedora and Windows Server basically everywhere instead now).

Don't buy until immediately before you need it.

All items look to be in stock at Scorptec in Dandenong for pickup (or delivery).

The exact case model was out of stock at all scoptec stores, so I switched to the same a model without included fans. You may wish to add some.

Would you like to make a scorptec cart for you tonight? Would you like me to keep the price <2k?

Expect memory and storage prices to continue to increase at this point. It's looking like a longer term trend. GPUs will also increase, but I wouldn't expect them to double in cost.

One supplier is easiest - I usually use scorptec. It might work out being 200-300 more expensive at any single store.

We can also substitute parts for cheaper/less-known alternatives - like the case, and redirect the diference.

You're welcome to add/call on telegram (or discord I suppose), if it helps. x
