Update: I went with green even though pink got more votes bc someone pointed out that the green & pink together would make a great sock and if I used pink for the toes of this sock, there wouldn't be enough yarn for the green/pink sock to exist and I can always get behind another knitting project.

Ah shoot. My friend who doesn't do social media voted rust. So did my husband. I need a larger sample.
