We've done four years of podcasts about AEW wrestling. If you think that it's reasonable to talk about a show for four years and not find a single complaint, I don't know what to tell you

I think they should have done that (split the belts for the tournament) and left it with three other belts that can be defended. Messing with the title histories, etc. gets confusing. If the new belt is just defended elsewhere, that's fine

Three men's singles titles, two women's, and men's and women's tag make sense. The trios titles are meh. The Unified title killed the International title, which was a good title. They shouldn't have merged it, imo.

I'd take away the Continental as a title you can defend. It should be for the winner of the C2, like the Owen. World/International/TNT made sense. Maybe this new title will fix things.

The actual episode title is "Does AEW use its titles wrong?" and we talk more about the usage, not the number

Just for the men, World, International, TNT made sense. For the woman, World and TBS make sense (because there are fewer women on the roster). They should just be structured differently, imo

Personally, I think more of the problem is how they use the titles. There should be a top, upper mid card, and mid card title. And then maybe a "speciality" title. They seem to want more than one top title though, which is odd

Agreed. "Everyone gets a title" was clearly a joke. But, yeah, I think they could handle titles better

Also "the fed" has four men's singles titles on their main roster (WWE, World, IC, and US). AEW has four men's singles titles on their main roster (World, TNT, Unified, and now National). I don't know if four is demonstrably more titles than four, but I'm sure you can explain. I'll wait
