We’re in Germany, so at least I do not have to worry about him being racially profiled by ICE, but I do worry about our family still in the States…

Our neighbors told others that my husband is Mexican. He’s Puerto Rican. And we live on a military base, so really, no one is safe from racial profiling… This isn't the first time it's happened, but it hits differently with the current political climate.

I wrote a paper years ago on the importance of reading Shakespeare’s works, focusing on his portrayal of tyrants and comparing them to Trump. 😅 Caesar was mentioned, of course.
