we werent accepted for meet and greets until after we said goodbye to little josie

wont go into much detail but that was tough as well
esp for my husband
we were hoping to get a buddy before josie passed in hopes of cheering her up
losing kurami was hard on all of us & she really needed a furry companion

we sent application after application for a boy

i never said anything but i unpinned this post at some point because we had to say goodbye to these babies last year
kurami went through pretty bad cognitive decline and could barely do anything
he was 15 years old
i miss my baby boy every day 🥲
and josies heart condition worsened

mostly because of my hubby putting those fears into my head lol
if our power also goes out… not looking forward to that……
and if it doesnt the cold is still going to suck anyway
taking our little dogs out to try to do their business is going to be /pain/

we were supposed to get snow, which ive wanted!!!, but now the forecast is saying were getting ice and freezing rain… miffed about that 😐
ive been stressing about the upcoming winter storm a lil bit too

go stock up on some emergency no cooking required foods if possible, water/beverages, and stay safe friend!!!
