Also, not that it *actually* matters, but he should look up Omar's margins of victory and the actual percentage Somali Americans make up of her district.

God, I hope we're able to overcome the inevitable GOP fuckery in 2026. (And have a robust primary season so that the hypothetical replacements are actually good.)

I lived in Huntsville, Alabama for a long time. Every LGBT event would have an entire row of defense contractor booths. It always seemed both kind of funny and kind of inevitable for anyone familiar with the town.

And the competition for that title is fierce!

Haha, I'm old!

This pole had Harris ahead for 36-64 and Newsom ahead for 65+, giving Newsom the overall lead. Which ... gross.

Of course, the top 5 "electable" for the GOP were Desantis, Vance, Rubio, Trump Jr, and RFK Jr. Which ... yikes!

I also "like" how they insist that all of Biden's executive actions should be nullified because something something autopen, but Trump supposedly not knowing anything about things like the people he pardons is completely copacetic.

This seems wild to me as "learning how to think" *is* the valuable job skill. I'd seriously question any management team who thought otherwise.

I mean, if you don’t like our country having birthright citizenship, you can advocate for a constitutional amendment repealing that section of the 14th. Repealing a section of the constitution by judicial fiat though is … problematic.

The youngsters were at the Star Trek panel at NYCC, and it was *so* adorable. When they showed the preview, a couple of them turned around to watch it with the audience and were literally tears after seeing themselves up there. They need to be protected!

Oh, I hear you. I’m just noting that he was especially curmudgeonly.

I can imagine him having a fair bit of contempt for the Dems as well and ran as a Bull Moose.

Worse, in my opinion. Manchin at least has the excuse of being from WV. We really couldn’t expect a less bad option that would caucus with the Dems.

They mailed those out for free to people in specific areas with instructions to please give them away. I got one sent to me despite having done nothing (other than buying spices previously) to request it.

That is some faint praise!

It’s tough because on one hand, I have no trouble believing that the Biden comm team was incompetent. On the other hand though, I look at the press corps - including in 2020 - and can’t help but feel that a lot of them rather deserved to be treated with contempt.
