📌 Gaping Gill is the highest unbroken underground waterfall in the UK

Fell Beck crashes 100m to the floor of the cavern before draining through to Ingleborough Cave. The main chamber measures 129m long, 31m high, and 25m wide.

Last but not least we have the smallest of our Yorkshire Three Peaks - The beautiful 📌Pen-y-ghent may be small compared to many of the other peaks in Yorkshire (694m/2277ft) but it is still an impressive feature in the landscape.

The #YorkshireDales National Park really is limestone country ❄️

Limestone is a hard sedimentary rock formed when remains of sea creatures dropped onto the sea floor. It contains fossils like corals and shells.
