Fishing in northern Minnesota is delightful. OK, this is a small bluegill, but it is a fish that I caught. And I also caught much smaller ones. It’s about being out on the lake with friends.

So excited about my Big Dragon Ball lotus. Apparently, people can grow lotus anywhere there is sunshine in the spring and summer. I tried all sorts of soil but the recommendation from another grower was Niu from Home Depot. It's a topsoil made in Hawai'i. Clay & sand, 50-gallon Rubbermaid stock.

I’m trying my hand at growing lotus. And it’s working out. The most beautiful thing comes out of the mud.

Watched Flow, the animated movie that won an Oscar. There is no dialogue, but dialogue is so overrated. Immediately, our ragdoll cat — who never watches TV — thrust himself on top of the media stand to engage. GREAT MOVIE.

We diverted off course to Elephant Island, and stopped at King George Island to deliver passengers with a medical emergency to a plane found back to Chile. I hope it was in time.

Cruising the Antarctica Peninsula this morning. It’s above freezing. Blue water icebergs and snow covered land with mountains.

Thank goodness there is an Apple service department in Panama City to force restart my iPad 13 pro. Already had it replaced once. I think I’ll just leave it on for six weeks from here on out.

Enjoying a strawberry daiquiri at the Honolulu airport Hotel. Early morning flight to visit a friend in Austin before heading to Panama City, where there are demonstrations already against Trump. Onto Easter Island. Then South America, Antarctica, and then to tango in Buena Aires.

Watching my husband get a haircut at the Kona Barber. Apparently, I will do anything to get invited to lunch.
