Despite it's beginning 'Silas Marner' had a rather upbeat ending. You know, him learning to trust again, very Christmassy, though I didn't plan it that way. Up next is the 1987 adaptation of 'Northanger Abbey' which I have been assured is suitable off the chain. #MilesofMasterpiece
