Made an impulse decision yesterday at like 1pm to buy tickets for Baby Metal at 7pm
I've never been to a metal show but the energy was incredible and I got to crowd surf!!!!

This weekend was a huge emotional payoff after just 5 months of the team being public and I cant wait to continue supporting them.

As for the main event, I did horribly going 4-4-1 after starting 0-2-1. Umbreon was definitely a throw but we knew it was a high risk card when we submitted it. Absolutely should've been 2nd Sylveon and 2nd Psychic, I lost so many games from prizing Psychic.

Team aside, the blindtest went well with 100+ data points and over 250 people trying it this weekend. I was on my feet Saturday from 10:30am to 9:00pm and 10:30am to 7:00pm Sunday having so much fun. My arms and back hurt from holding the sign, but I wouldn't change a thing.

I couldn't have asked for a better group of players to support and to believe in my vision for the team. Making breakfast Friday morning had me grinning ear to ear and I was so happy that I could do something for them, even if it was such a small moment.

Be it listening to Cali, Rose, and Gwen test a matchup up, Sammy and Kevin deep dive data, Liv and Sky play other formats, gaming with Sable, or having Prin help run the blindtest, each moment is near and dear to me.

Sitting on the couch and listening to everyone test, play games, and just talk genuinely made me cry at several points over the weekend. There were multiple times I'd look at members of our leadership and just say "We did good." I'm honestly getting tears typing this.

And with that, my NAIC week finally comes to a close. It was only the 2nd event I went to this season, but the 1st since starting @projectartemis.bsky.social. When running a team, it's hard to tell if you're doing a good job or not. But this weekend showed me; I did good.

I like Potion cause the 2 hardest mu's are Articuno18Trainers and Gallade, both of which like to setup math on the bench so you can ruin their map.
Think I dropped 4 games, only 1 was from bricking.

Took a bit to catch back up after the new set dropped before I could finish SpaceTime but I'm finally back to 100% on the solo battle missions
A lot of the challenge can be brute forces but it's way more fun to make creative decks
