Going out of my mind trying to find the @timwalzparody.bsky.social quote I believe was on the @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social show on how absolutely f*cked the "protein" industry (that is to say, our cheeseburgers and chikky tenders) will be. I am quite good at searching and I have reached my limit.

Meeting and hearing the stories of meat processing workers at the JBS plant in Greeley, CO, will stay with me for a lifetime. They were recruited here under false pretenses, packed into squalid housing, forced to work in dangerous conditions, and now are slated for deportation but can't go home.
