I think it's really just a case of being unfamiliar rather than being inherently hard to read.

Spell your own name however you want to of course but the final sound in your name, at least in my Australian accent, is more of a long 'e'. (Or maybe I'm just not good enough with the intracies of Shavian yet. )

Not to mention US air defence systems depend on Canadian bases, Air Force and NATO bases in Greenland. So yes Trump is correct when he says they are vital for US security - in the same way Rhineland, Austria, Sudetenland, Poland & Ukraine were vital for German security in 1930s Unacceptable USA!
