Here's an unintended sketch of Elef. It was part of an experiment on a new way to draw heads, but it ended up getting a body. I don't know what I was going for.

The other day I began a new sketchbook, so I took the opportunity to (finally) try watercolors.
It's hard to control the water flow, don't know if it's the reservoir brushes that do that or if I just need more practice, but I've been enjoying the experience so far

Last art of the year, a simple landscape practice piece. I need to focus on learning how to draw/paint places, settings, compositions, buildings etc... but I already have a hard time *drawing* anything. The desire's here, but not the motivation.

I've been trying to dive in the Splatoon art style recently.
It's amazing how a few references and experimenting can make stellar improvements!
I'm not used to working with opacity brushes and multiple layers tho 😭
