The project 2025 thing is like how toddlers will hide just their face and go "I'm not heeere!" & you're like "i can see you. You're right there" & they're like "no I'm nooot" & then they jump out like "Ha! I tricked you! I WAS right here!" Like yall weren't making direct eye contact the entire time

In the book I'm on right now, published in 1961 but set in an advanced future with interplanetary travel, a character's parentage was just revealed, and another character (a medical professional!) asked "How do they know?" & the answer had to do with blood types and hair/eye color lmao

They can teleport people & instantly materialize food, drinks, medication or machinery but they don't have camera feeds! Every time something's happening in the med bay or the engine room the captain has to physically leave the bridge and WALK there to see what's going on lmao
