I disagree—and saying this is an “easy” excuse just sounds like unchecked privilege to me.
The US was literally founded by killing Indigenous folks and using stolen Black people to enslave to make white people richer. There are many factors, yes, but racism is at the root of them all.

I’m so sorry you had to disown your sister, how painful. That said, I totally get it and if this were my family member, I would be doing the same. I hope she comes around some day but, either way, at least you can hold your head high.💜💜

Sadly—and unsurprisingly—there are many more who think this way. Regurgitating Fox “news” propaganda, utterly devoid of critical thought. And underpinning it all: a deep, ugly hatred for anyone who isn’t white and male.
