Last week I called two plumbers for a tub/shower valve fix. Reg company wanted $1250, second one quoted me $2500. My SIL said, “I know a guy” who came and fixed it for $200 in less than an hour. Protect your local “Know a Guys” like the treasures they are. And pay in cash.

I read a suggestion recently to sandwich a fluxy glaze base-color in middle-fluxy glaze on top, and not allow layers to dry completely between so they blend better… ?? Haven’t tested myself.
