Without any surprise the biggest threat to our national security is disinformation and misinformation.
As the US removes itself as a leader in these areas it leaves a vacuum. Another country may use their money and influence these organizations or promote their own. My best guess is that americas abdication of international leadership will pave the way for china to assert more global influence.
Withdrawing US funding from the World Health Organization is a potential disaster for public health worldwide, due to the impact it will have on the important work the WHO does. Preventing the CDC from even *talking* with WHO personnel is a step much farther toward undermining global health & safety
