This is what public interest litigation looks like!

We've been in the Federal Court representing Lock the Gate as they challenge fracking in the NT’s Beetaloo Basin - under the strengthened ‘water trigger’ in our national environment law.

I'm Maddie.

This week the Environment Minister visited my home state to see the devastation caused by the toxic algal bloom, wreaking havoc since March.

This disaster is a wake-up call. We need urgent leadership – and real climate action now!

First day in Federal Court, Melbourne, today - and it gets to be with this amazing bunch! 🏞️🦜💚
Today, our client Friends of Nyah Vinifera Park is in Federal Court. They’re challenging a Victorian government project, which would involve the construction of levy banks, concrete and steel regulators, and pump stands in a fragile Murray River ecosystem.

Bad news for forests: woody biomass for energy will triple by 2030, w/ monoculture plantations exploding 13x.

More logging, degraded forests + sterile tree farms - while communities + ecosystems suffer. This won’t fix the climate crisis; it’ll fuel it.
