I had a dream last night that Aaron Nola pitched six scoreless. Obviously that was not possible given the gameplan, but I'm glad at least he was able to have two clean innings. The called strike curveball to Will Smith and swinging strikeout on a fastball for Pages were nice moments.

Rarely do I opine when sad, but one of the main things that makes both of these losses heartbreaking is that they feel like they're within the margin of error/chance/decision, rather than being obviously outplayed. I was at the '22 WS no-hitter, and this feels much more devastating.
