Do I HAVE to stay up all night to watch Stranger Things as soon as it starts? Do I have to go to the cinema to a late viewing and lose sleep for the early shift the next day?

And yes, I know it's not exhausting, going to the cinema. You're sitting and watching something. But I've had no time to myself - I tried to go but the timings involved meant sacrificing much-needed rest time and stressing out my schedule. Do I have to sacrifice my rest to keep ahead of the game?

I've had no time/energy for the cinema. I've been looking forward to the film for months. But unwanted clips and memes are already popping up with giveaway titles. It's the same with Stranger Things S5.

Do we really have to rush to watch things now - at the expense of our MH and our sleep?

Seriously. I've already had several things spoilt from the film because of random memes popping up on Facebook. I'm so happy(!) that you got to see it on opening weekend while I've been pushing my way through seven days of work which included extra hours. How fortunate you've had the stamina to go.

Fact is, I know I COULD set it in the UK. Nearly half the cast are British anyway. But it just feels so much more exciting to set it overseas, somewhere nautical and fun by the ocean. I never specify exactly WHERE I'm setting my fics and I can only get away with that for so long.

I know I shouldn't complain as it's the reality for everyone but I am now working for a solid week. Starting with the training today, I won't have a day off now until next Wednesday and I don't know if I can do this. I've been tired and stressed. One day at a time, I guess.

I tried. I really, really tried. And I enjoyed the job, I really did. And I'll keep trying. But I'm already preparing to say goodbye.

Really, I'm just on a Doctor Who nostalgia kick - remembering 2010, remembering Matt Smith's arrival as 11, remembering Sherlock and just how much I went through with both shows and how they were a shield against a lot of RL stuff. It was a very fun time filled with the very best of creativity.

Kazran is 12 when he first meets Abigail and if we count down her timings then it means he's about 17 at first snog. Which is fine and all but pretty sure the lovely Abigail is in her twenties and Moffat was really a fan of that whole Now I Am Grown So Now We Can ROMANCE! thing back in the day.

I will finish the one I did for Dad, do a small one for my baby nephew to mark his first Christmas and try(!) to finish the one I'm doing for my stepmum. But I can't do anything else. I'm worn out, my room is a mess. I'm done.
