Creativity is like a houseplant, not an endless well. You need to seek out sunlight, water, and nutrients in art, shows, music, experiences, and more to tend to it. And just like plants it has its dormant and active periods and you may not seem improvement for some time.

I got out of the writing habit over the holidays. It's hard to get back into it, so I'm trying to give myself a challenge of writing a #drabble every day. I even made a choice wheel for topics.
So far it's fun. Let's see how long I can keep it up! 📖

➖️ I couldn't sleep (again) last night
➕️ I used the time to write (on my phone)
➖️ It wasn't on either book I SHOULD be working on
➕️ I got >800 words on the opening chapter of book 5 of a series I haven't even announced yet

It's all about balance, right? 😂

I've been gone way too long, but the holidays were almost a month-long thing in my house this year. But I'm back and excited to start being more active!

I think adults should get a personal pan pizza for reading books too

There's snow in the forecast. I'm so not ready for this yet!
