I like this signing, but I wonder if signing him means we don’t sign a wide, zuba, kepa, him and a striker, that’s a lot of new faces to bed in, Arteta isn’t one to be that full on…historically.
Maybe that’s just me thinking oddly.

I hope we still get him.
Makes sense we do same with zuba as him and wait for new season financials…maybe? Or maybe we are doing arsenal things and will end up pivoting to maupey

Here’s my view - that you haven’t asked for but still!
Havertz is clear #1. Getting Sesko I think puts good pressure on havertz but also gives sesko game time to improve and hopefully show his potential. By time he hits peak Kai is PROB heading out of his?
At this point id take bendtner

Both agents will be doing their part in trying to drum up interest in press. Both would get large pay bumps if they can pull off a deal to either Arsenal or, another club thinking they are beating Arsenal to their target

@gunnerblog.bsky.social #arsecastextra. With trossard always visibly unhappy with game time. Would you be happy to sell him or, would you prefer to sell Gabri for a presumably larger value and get replacement, keeping trossard for his versitility?

Ah yeah, I totally forgot about that! 😅. Point taken.

I don’t know. I might be wrong but I think he has the most mins in the squad this season.
Keeping him as a squad player could be a decent shout?

But as I said, start of season I was kind of thankful his contract was ending.

Just wondered your opinion. Do you think a game performance like last night has partey pushing for a new deal?
I was happy at start of season for him to go, but this season he has been great. Last night he was unreal.
Or is this Xhaka style goodbye when on top form?

I’m bored of talking about how shit the refs are in this league.
Not only do they not offer value for money to the league, but the constantly let players down

I think a sale would suit all parties. Always felt like a player we developed to sell in a weird way.
Good player, never be enough to compete for 1st in Arsenal so sell with an add on.

Well that was erm…a weird game. We were in 3rd gear throughout and I couldn’t work out of that was intentional given squad size issues.

I guess it could be worked out by looking at games won from them and the goals taken from our GD. Then look at where we would sit in the table. Difference in money from that position to where we finished last year…I’m not smart enough to look in to it essentially.

Good for him. Hopefully we get a good sale on him, won’t break even but could be enough to cut a small loss.

With our squad being so evidently drained of energy and injury ridden. Do you think the answer is; to change our style of play, try suck it out until Jan and buy improvements/reinforcements OR stick and hope it evens out.

I would say maybe assassins creed.
They are easy, they cover a wide variety of historic themes and controls are pretty intuitive.
They aren’t going to blow you away! But a good dipping of the toe.

I think given our start to the season, if our view of every game isn’t “head down and plow though” then we are setting up to fail.
We are at risk of losing the edge we have built in last 3-4 seasons
November 18, 2024 at 10:14 AM
Realistically, do you think we will buy big in Jan? Usually tough window and players we want would prob be European tied.
I’m not sure I buy in to us splashing cash in this window. (Don’t worry, not asking you to name someone).
