On an adventure, but misplaced my map. Writer, photographer, and lover of the Oxford comma. Lip balm bisexual. ADHD extraordinaire. She/Her.
At the mall like a good little capitalist, but I think my favorite spot is the koi pond. My friends know every time we go I have to stop and visit the fishies.

Is there any product that is so universally “mis-used” as cotton swabs? Like on the box the manufacturers are always “cotton swabs are great for arts and crafts and cleaning keyboards! But don’t stick them in your ears!”
And us consumers are always like, “Yes, arts and crafts.”

That may be part of what’s going on then. These are the “official” numbers, but like I said, I start to notice symptoms at 40 and above.

I start getting chest tightness at AQI 40 and above even though the official chart calls anything below 50 fine. But for me it lets me know to shut windows and limit time outside.

Another tip: get a spacer
These are great at making sure the medicine actually gets into your lungs

My heart is broken. No matter how much time we had together it never would have been enough. But this hurt is deep because our love and connection was likewise deep.

Thank you Hugo for filling my life with so much love. Sleep gently my little Hugonaut.

Take a look at your can opener. There’s a good chance it has a prong hook thing on it. That’s a bottle opener.

This post is going to cost friendships.

I’m avoiding this discourse only because the apostrophe being used to indicate a plural noun rather than a possessive noun is making my eye twitch.

Ethel Cain in downtown Portland! First concert I’ve been to since Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit in 2022.

This is honestly one of the most thoughtful things a company has done. I always dread this time of year because of the Mother’s Day advertising blitz. A small acknowledgement like this can go so far. Other companies please take note!
