There may have been fires, but there was never a deliberate destruction. People have been blaming people for it since antiquity. The Muslims are often blamed, but the stories precede Islam. The library was almost certainly the victim of the general collapse of the Ancient world.

I don't normally follow video links, but I watched this one for your sake. I don't see how it would alter what I posted. I've read scores of books about antiquity and it seems pretty clear to me that the burning of the Library is a myth.
