There are exceptions though (as always). Kais from Fire Warrior proved susceptible to demonic influence while his brethren (especially the Ethereals) were not.

Mildly related but not really: Turn A doesn't have any Haros, but its manga adaptation (written by Tomino, illustrated by Atsuhi Souga) added these little monster weapons that may have been partially inspired by the F91 bugs.

Heard some chatter that G-Quuuuuux is secretly a Gunbuster/Diebuster successor so thought it about time I cleared those off my backlog before I get more Gundam in my life.
