Nothing like leading two hours of whole-school CPD training on a Thursday in Week 8, complete with role play, to make yourself staffroom enemy number one!

Happy "Thank a Teacher Day" to all who celebrate and all the wonderful teachers who are making a difference against all the odds.

Is there a better feeling than when students come out of an exam all positive and excited because they worked so hard to get where they are. Unbelievably proud of my class and form today. Superstars - every one of them!

It's strange to think that those lovely Year 7s in my training year @manchesteracademy.bsky.social took their GCSEs today. Wishing them all the luck in the world!

I can't really stop thinking about The Silence Project by @carolehailey.bsky.social. This is the bit that's always missing in dystopian books- how did it get like this. The absolute horror is so slowly unfurled that you barely realise it is happening before it's too late. Could not be more relevant.
