In a good position after controlling most of that half, but without really creating a great deal of threat in their final third.

Stupid pen for Everton to give away, well taken by Gyokeres who really made no mistake.

Think we need be smarter in their half, make better decisions.

That felt almost cruel the way that winner went in. We'd put bodies on the line to block everything and it broke for Buendia.

A point apiece would probably been fair enough, I think, but that's not how it goes.

Sort of lost for words at how late that was. A real gut punch

Poor goal to concede in what was essentially a very even game. Eze knew he'd switched off.

Lots of attacking options on the bench which we're going to need. Eze looks a bit peripheral on the left, Merino a bit leggy.

Far from over, but improvement needed

Spurs game plan more or less worked ... until it didn't.

Merino's pass for the first goal is superb, and we stretched them well for the second which allowed that chance to develop for Eze. What a moment for him.

In a great position now, but clearly they'll do something different 2nd half.

What an amazing day for Arsenal and for Eberechi Eze. Incredible for him in any context, but with his history, his journey, it's just really, really special.

Also a massive win, and a statement/fuck off win in this title race after the results yesterday

Huge day, lots of fun to be had after this!

Liverpool were really poor today.

Why isn't there any real scrutiny as to why you have a £120m striker on the bench and you don't bring him on?

Wow, Trossard!

What a goal. Like Arshavin at Anfield

I also think we invited that pressure with the Mosquera sub. No slight on him at all, and I do get it when managers do that, but we had players like White, MLS, Nwaneri who could have given us more energy and play more of the final stages in their half.

That's a game we should have won, a much better second half from us, and two excellent goals to go ahead.

Arsenal's defence has been a real strength this season, but we were found wanting on both the Sunderland goals.

They made it very tough, but having gone ahead, we should have held on.

Arsenal have been a bit lacklustre, even careless at times, but Palace have made it really, really difficult too.

Quality finish from Eze for his first Premier League goal for us.

Need to improve if we want to make this game 'safe' though.

Oooof - that was hard work, but exactly the kind of game you have to be able to grind out if you want to win the title.

Maybe a bit of a hangover from midweek, but Eze had the moment of quality to earn three points.

With Man City and Liverpool both losing, this was a really big win.

Ange Postecoglou was never gonna last, Forest had a two week international break to sort something else out, and they let him stay on and lose another game.

Football clubs are so weird.

Another 2-0 to the Arsenal!

Solid if unspectacular, lovely finish from Rice to put us 1-0 up after Eze should have done earlier. No mistake from Saka from the spot after Timber fouled.

West Ham offered so little, we controlled this one pretty easily.

Top of the table (for now), Interlull ahoy!

Played well, deservedly ahead and probably should have scored more. Gyok lively and this is the best Martin Odegaard performance for some time, really pulling the strings.

Olympiacos have had moments though, that David Raya save gets better each time you see it.

Solid, but work still to do.

That second half was hard work. Olympiacos were much tougher to play against, but I think we were also wasteful. Trossard had big chances, Odegaard denied by brilliant goalkeeping and defending.

But he got the assist for Saka's late goal, the least his performance deserved. 3 points, clean sheet!

That really felt like a game that Arsenal and Mikel Arteta just could not lose.

A special goal to equalise late on, but the way we dominated Man City with that second half performance, with the players we had on the pitch, will be a source of regret.

We should be braver from the start.

That midfield is more about containment than creativity, so that plan goes out the window when you concede so early.

Merino has been pretty bright, some nice progressive passes, but he's the obvious replacement if we want to shake it up with someone like Eze.

Clear we need to change something tho
