Uploaded one of my fave designs, a blue damask with a bow, inspired by the blue crab. The print on this one is pretty big so it would be super cute for linens furniture or curtains.

This was hand painted with gouache after spending time at the beach this summer!

Also I made a trans pride art nouveau print and I'm kind of obsessed with it. I may or may not go back through my files and do trans recolors of a bunch of them because you can't tell me that's not gorg

I've started sharing some of my work on spoonflower! I've been making patterns for ages at this point but, have not made them available outside of licensing them through my portfolio. Thought it might be fun to shorten the amount of time it takes to get things in people's hands!

I got to go see the @montereybayaquarium.org earlier this year and the jellies were my favorite animals by far. Here is a digital painting I did of one of them that I’m particularly proud of! #artsky #aquarium #digitalpainting

Took a trip to Monterey with the family and all I wanted to do was take reference photos of the flowers. (We also went to SF and I have LOTS of pics of little architectural details for pattern inspo 👀)

Reworking a 3 year old gouache piece from my sketchbook. It’s really cool to see changes over such a length of time. Still working of course but still happy so far. #artsky #artpractice #cowgirl

#smartist #evergreen sharing this piece again because it’s one of my favorite watercolors and one of my favorite landscapes. Making a beautiful scene out of the same textures that make up my body- stretch marks, cellulite, rosacea and forcing the viewer to not only see but appreciate them.

Jolene is helping me quilt 😂 the way the quilt lines lattice makes me think of a cherry pie 🥧 definitely not perfect but it’s the first time I’ve done quilting myself so I will take it!

The backing is a dark chocolate and I’m using sunflower yellow thread to quilt it! I haven’t cut the binding yet but I could use some help figuring out whether to use the light brown or the red (input welcome!)

Another quilt top (almost) finished. I’m taking a class now and over the next two days I’ll be adding borders, quilting and binding it. Hopefully I get the hang of the process and can also finish up my quilts from Christmas!

The heaviness is palpable but my kitten learned to chatter at a reflection today so I can share that.
