When this first came up, I was excited to see someone was actually doing something… but

These people spend their lives accumulating wealth and power to… write a strongly worded email instead of using the power they’ve fought so desperately to gain.

This is our representative? Someone quietly eating all the shit they’re feeding her without a single peep? The one person with even a lick of federal political power within the trans community can’t even remotely stand up for herself, much less for all of us. We’re so cooked.

Covid took that dream from me, so our current nightmare is less of a personal loss, but I absolutely feel you. I’m so sorry.

My entire self is on the cutting-room floor right now, actively being stripped away, while people discuss what movies they watched last weekend. It’s jarring. All I want is to not have to care about politics, but since my gender identity has been turned into a political prop, I’ll never escape.
