After reposting the Substack from John Pavlovitz, I went to TikTok and this came up. It’s one of my favorite content creators talking to the historical use of Christianity to conquer and control people.

It’s a very stark contrast when compared to the actions and words of Christ.

Sadly, I know that, first hand.

I’ve been unemployed in my field for almost two years.

It can be difficult to remain calm, positive, and kind; especially on days where people in your own community attack you for choosing peaceful resistance and measured response over physical aggression, abuse, and violence.

I try to stay clean and not employ ad hominem attacks, but some days, well…😕
