He seems to have no cultural hinterland - at least nothing that a 'kiwi bloke' could relate to, and has to invent a range of experiences that seem like he's some sort of clumsy ai agent masquerading as a real boy.

I'm amazed by the honesty and vulnerability in this correspondence. I can't imagine being able to communicate like that at that age. Spose that's why they're incredible songwriters.

And it's obvious that, even excluding their capacity to afford throwing an army of human beings at the problem of content moderation, they DO have the tech to deal with a large proportion of it. The issue is their unwillingness and the inability of govts to exercise any coercive power over them.
