Right now it seems impossible for a team outside the big 5 (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Manchester Utd) to consistently challenge them. The other clubs can't assemble squads that can compete in multiple competitions year in year out.

Frequently in football coaches need to move on after a few years. Players stop listening, or the effect lessens over time. Someone said after a few years you either change the players or the coach.
