Been working on the new noiseless P90 design, one important thing for me was fitting it all in a standard P90 sized package. Can report that I have accomplished that. This set has a full 42AWG 10k wind coil in each position, and has the new magnet config and a 44AWG coil underneath.

Here's how the set shipped in 2021. I went through the pickups, making sure everything was good to go, and swapped the A5 bridge magnet to the triple ceramic setup the Hellfire typically comes with. Neck is still A5. I also lasered the logos and swapped the gold poles for black hex.

I've got an in stock Strandberg fitment 7 string Hellfire set with pale moon ebony tops available. This set was built in 2021, customer wasn't feeling the Hellfire wind, so I took it in on trade for a new build.

Put them through their paces last night and I'm super stoked on how they sound. Let a couple of buddies check them out over calls and they both loved the sound. Today, I started working on the full sized noiseless P90, as well as a full sized noisy P90 set to A/B them. This is a game changer, IMO.

I've lived in this house for over 2 years now and haven't had a functional shop, only as functional as needed to do my work, but my mom has been here helping me clean and set up and the progress has been amazing. Still have a bunch to do, but it's starting to feel far less hopeless.

I also 3d printed a mount for my 4 most used tools when building pickups. This will be mounted on the right side of the bench underneath.

Been working on improving my workspace. Added more power outlets, built a riser for my Bambulabs P1S, and moved my computer under the bench and wall mounted the monitor. Still have more work to do but it's nice to see progress.

Started flat sanding the splatter, trying to get a better result when clear coating, and found that the splatter started looking worn, and really liked it, so sanded the whole body in a similar manner. Clear coat starting soon.

With Ibanez relaunching the 540P, I keep seeing the new 540PIII and thinking damn, that'd be great as a bass. So I got in Rhino 3D, scaled and screwed to a shape I thought would work, got going. Have a spare Yamaha RBX765A I can use for hardware and a neck. Doing a 1.6" thick alder body.
