Get rid of the executives and their fucking suits and things would get a lot better.
Absolutely rude.

I’m not paying another fucking cent in student loans and at this point I seriously might kìll anyone who tries to force me to. I’m not a violent person. I’m a reasonable person who’s being pushed way too far.

First they came for Latino men, and I said something, so did many others, but it didn’t make any difference because they just kept doing it anyway.
The time to stop this was a decade ago. Fascism can never be tolerated under the guise of so-called free speech.
The innocence of Abrego Garcia, Merwil Gutiérrez, and an estimated 90% of the people sent to El Salvador proves this was never about “criminals”.

It’s about racism.

It’s about state terror.

It’s about dehumanization.

Fascism takes hold when people stay silent. It’s up to all of us to speak up.

I am encouraged by the turnout at local rallies. Also encouraged by some recent developments in my life. There is still a lot to figure out but it’s going to be alright.

Who could have imagined that a generation that had to write an essay about the purpose of their life to get into college, and has next to no work-life balance, would crave meaningful work?
Gen Z craves meaningful work, not just a paycheck. Experts warn that dismissing this as entitlement could be a costly mistake for managers.
Kelly Kennedy, University of Connecticut and Cathleen Swody, University of Connecticut
Managers can help their Gen Z employees unlock the power of meaningful work − here’s how
Asking these 3 questions can help young workers find purpose, stay engaged and drive organizational success.

The fact that the USA has banned visas for trans people but welcomed rapist Andrew Tate shows how all this "defending women" stuff is total bullshit

I can’t travel internationally because I can’t re-enter the United States without being thrown in federal prison for having a passport with my correct gender on it. I can’t immigrate because despite seven years of higher education that I will never be done paying for, I have no in-demand skills.

Seriously imagine the reaction of American conservatives from the 1950s if the POTUS was openly a Russian asset and not even trying to pretend otherwise.
But he's FUCKING America's economy.

I don’t want to have to think about politics all the time. I don’t want anyone who isn’t an elected official to have to. Politics should be something that anyone can follow and learn about as much as they want to, but not something people have to follow just to survive.

I voted against Trump because I didn’t want these bad things to happen to anyone. Many people voted for him because they wanted bad things to happen to me and others like me.
Now that bad things are happening to me, wanting the Trumpanzees to get hit hard by them too does not put me on their level.

Just because landlords have normalized quarters for laundry doesn’t make it right.
I have like maybe ten times left where a dryer eats my quarters and then doesn’t start, before I fucking snap.
History will remember it as the Laundry War.

I knew this was going to happen sooner or later: Sarah McBride getting blatantly misgendered on the House floor.
She responded with remarkable grace, tact, and sticking to the speech she was going to give.
But she shouldn’t have had to.
I lose respect for every cis Democrat who didn’t defend her.

Great afternoon skiing in the Adirondacks for the first time. Beautiful views. I love living somewhere that I can just go do this on a day off AND having a job where I’m free on Fridays.

Positivity challenge: what do I hope life will be like where I live ten years from now?
First, I hope that we have reconfigured our economy to ensure everyone can survive and has the opportunity to thrive. Every person has a legal right to a home, however simple and humble.

When this is over - however bad it gets, however long it takes to restore democracy - there need to be major changes.
First off, zero tolerance for Christian Nationalism and white supremacism. These evils must never get even a toehold in politics or culture again.

The following statement would not have been controversial in early 2011, nor its past-tense version after the Zero Dark Thirty operation took place:
“Osama bin Laden is a terrorist, an enemy of the American people, and a dangerous man. The United States military and intelligence agencies…

When you take an oath to defend the Constitution and the American people against all enemies foreign and domestic…
…this is what that means. It’s easy to say these words when you imagine a small terror group or a hostile military. The enemy of the moment looks very different.

I can think of two things that were true in 1950s America that we should try to bring back:
1. One adult with a job being able to not only survive but support a family including taking the kids on vacation
2. The idea that Nazís are bad and have no place in a democracy not being controversial.
