The men and women of God lived judging and God didn't condemn them for the mere judgment of something.
"To judge" can mean: to sentence, to evaluate OR to weigh up.

Judging is not a sin, as long as it is done with wisdom and decency. I recommend that you read the letters to the Corinthians.

Jesus judged sin SEVERAL times.

If He forgave someone, it means that person is guilty and in need of repentance and "metanoia." No matter what system generated/perpetuated a practice, sin needs to be forsaken. Christ is merciful and blesses those who forsake sin.
