The listening has been BADDD TODAY THOUGH and I swear to God if this child doesn't nap today I'm gonna lose it (internally). They're the kind that acts possessed when underslept and I'm still getting over a cold so fatigue is still real

This morning I accidentally told a child "If you keep disobeying..." and I wanted to die inside because like. yes do I want them to listen? Of course, especially when their behavior is unsafe or disruptive (theirs was the latter) but the phrasing of obedience is way too authoritarian for me
